Tate window

Modern tate gallery once a power station, presents a massive stage for installations & large sculpture. But the building itself holds attention, I often wish they had left one of the huge generators in this energy cathedral.

  1. I think someone should turn Battersea power station, also designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, into art and design studios, music venue and exhibition space before the building falls apart completely – then London would have two amazing powerhouses of art!
